A Winchester defense attorney was accused of extorting sex for legal fees.
A client of Howard Manheimer says that he tried to extort sex from her for the $1,000 worth of fees she owed him.
According to the Winchester General District Court, Manheimer was charged with sexual battery last month for assaulting the woman on the basketball court at John Kerr Elementary School. Later, he assaulted the woman a second time in a Walmart parking lot. The victim has a protective order against Manheimer which will be in effect until November 14th, the date of a trial or entry of a plea.
