Kai Cenat was gifted a purported basketball from the late Kobe Bryant in a new video, with the Twitch streamer in disbelief at the gesture from a fan.

Cenat, 22, is currently in Taiwan and one fan wanted him to have what he claimed to be an extremely valuable item.

The fan told him the basketball was given to his cousin by Bryant in 2006 - when he visited Taiwan in the offseason - before ending up in his hands.

Bryant did in fact visit Taiwan in 2006, though there is no way of knowing if the ball is legitimate.

The fan told Cenat that the ball was real but didn't offer any proof beyond that.

Regardless, fans of Cenat online couldn't believe that the Taiwanese supporter would part with the potentially-valuable item.

'Giving out a very rare basketball that the legendary Kobe Bryant gave you to a multi millionaire is really wild,' one wrote on X. 'Does he even realize what he has done? I guess not.

'Nah I'm never gon trade what Kobe gave to me for any amount of money,' another added.

And a different fan said, 'Giving away a ball that Kobe gave you to a twitch streamer is crazyyyyy. At least he got some sort of money. But that ball was priceless.'

As a token of his appreciation, Cenat ultimately handed the fan a wad of cash.

The social media star was extremely grateful for the gift, and repeatedly asked the fan if he was sure he wanted to give the ball away - which the fan answered steadfastly in the affirmative.

Bryant, meanwhile, is considered one of the greatest NBA players ever after compiling five championships and 18 All-Star appearances in a Hall of Fame career with the Lakers.

He died in 2020 in a tragic helicopter crash that killed his daughter, Gianna, and seven others.
