In the wetlands of Europe, artefacts of ancient lives are sometimes found when peat harvesting. This ignited Patricia’s imagination. Her process combines local clay slips, ice age gravels and organics such as reeds into stoneware clay. After multiple firings and ash glaze, her pots take on the colours and textures of the land.
