Friendship Stars Card

I love how sweet the friends are from Lawn Fawn's Upon a Star stamp set (S). I used only part of a stamp for the friendship sentiment.

I colored the fox and bunny with Nuvo alcohol markers (S). Since I wasn't sure what foxes look like in real life I looked at pictures to get an idea of how I wanted to color and shade mine.

I created a vignette for them using two Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles dies for the frame and night sky and one Curved Borders Two die (SB) for the grassy hill. The frame was made from The Paper Cut's Silver Curious Metallic paper (PC). Stars paper from Stargazer paper pad (HL), green grass paper from Entirely Textures (HL). I added dimension by using craft foam under the fox, bunny, grass and frame.

I stamped the inside with a Fiskars Friends Forever Quotes stamp. I was excited to find this stamp in my stash, it's been a long time since I've used the set. I had forgotten all about this particular stamp. I've never even used it before. I was thrilled with how perfect the sentiment was for this card.

I used Chipped Sapphire distress ink (S) around the outside edges of an orange-yellow card base (HL). I then adhered the vignette to the front of the card.

Lawn Fawn is coming out with a winter stargazing set that looks adorable (S). Those stargazing friends might need to come to my house to join their other stargazing friends! ;-)

Blessings,

Julie
