Hello there, Yuljem! We're back with another guide to your favorite Hospital Playlist actors and this time, we're putting the spotlight on our Ahn Eun Jin, aka Chu Minha. We like how she's brave enough to show her love for Seok Hyeong (Kim Dae Myung) in the drama but more than that, Minha is such a ray of sunshine—IRL, Eun Jin also exudes positive vibes. Let's get to know more about her!

1. She was born on May 6, 1991.
Ahn Eun Jin is a 30-year-old Taurus and ICYDK, people under this sign are recognized for being trustworthy, dedicated, and resilient. While they're almost always motivated to achieve their goals, Taureans also value the importance of rest. During her free time, Eun Jin loves visiting bookstores, writing, and drinking coffee.
2. Ahn Eun Jin got inspired to become an actress after watching a school performance.
Eun Jin shared what made her decide to pursue acting in an interview with Ten Asia: In middle school, she had a ~realization~ about her dream career after witnessing a school performance. "I fell in love with the actors singing and acting for two hours, so I decided, 'I have to do this,'" she said.
3. She's a theater actress.
Before she got interested in acting, Eun Jin enjoyed dancing and singing as a child. Her talent in these areas was shown in the plays and musicals she appeared in, including Beautiful Sign, The Sorrows of Young Werther, and Black Mary Poppins, to name a few. She kick-started her career as a theater actress and later on, transitioned to the small screen.
4. In 2019 alone, she was featured in six K-dramas.
2019 was a busy year for Eun Jin as she was cast in The Crowned Clown, Kingdom, Possessed, My Fellow Citizens!, Strangers From Hell, and Diary Of A Prosecutor. Phew! Because of her long list of dramas that year, she was called by Sports Chosun as a "rookie who is busier than the lead."
5. She's also dubbed as the "actress loved by PDs."
Thanks to her wide acting spectrum and expressive performances, Eun Jin drew the attention of many viewers and became a favorite among producer-directors (PDs). Mind you, she was only a rookie actress when she was given that recognition! We can totally see why she's well-loved since her portrayal of Minha's feelings is always spot on (and oh-so-adorable).
6. Ahn Eun Jin once lived in a gosiwon.
Strangers From Hell is a thriller series about a young man who moved to Seoul after he was chosen for an intern position in a company. Since he doesn't have enough money to sustain his daily living, he opted to reside in Eden Studio—a cheap dormitory filled with...strangers from hell. In South Korea, there are low-cost accomodations like this (minus the creepy characters) called gosiwon, and it has super small rooms. Eun Jin revealed she lived in one for three months due to a school performance she's part of.
P.S.: Her role in this drama as a policewoman is special because it was not included in the webtoon version!
7. According to her, she buys a new diary every year.
One of Eun Jin's hobbies is writing and she specifically loves jotting down her thoughts in a diary. In fact, she would purchase a new one every year! When the month of December comes, she likes reading her past diary entries to ~bring back~ good memories.
8. She's into K-pop.
Like Minha, Eun Jin also considers herself a K-pop fan. In an interview, she mentioned that she is the "type to fangirl" because she spend a lot of time watching K-pop groups on YouTube. Her recent picks include Oh My Girl, and she said that she would often hum 2PM's "My House."
9. Ahn Eun Jin has already visited the Philippines.
Yes, you read that right—she has been to our country and she enjoyed the white beaches in Boracay! Hope you can come back here soon, Eun Jin. <3
