She’s all grown up! Ahn So Hee first burst onto the Korean entertainment scene as a member of the chart-topping girl group, Wonder Girls. Despite making her debut 15 years ago, she's still the talented baby-faced Ahn So Hee we all know and love. More recently, she's been making waves as an actress and she certainly doesn’t disappoint! So Hee is currently starring in the popular drama Thirty-Nine as the bright and cheerful Kim So Won who is hinted to be a much more complex character than we originally thought. Ahn So Hee was born on June 27, 1992.
She's a 29-year-old Cancer! Those born under this sign are known to be super emotional and understanding of others and their own selves. In an interview with Marie Claire Korea, So Hee shared her *unique* way of dealing with emotions, saying, "I don't avoid it. I have to say that I feel lonely. I don't try to say, 'I'm feeling depressed so I have to think brightly'. When I am happy, I try to enjoy it and when I am sad, I try to stay sad. She's the youngest member of Wonder Girls.
OG K-pop fans will recognize her as the fresh-faced maknae (youngest member) of the legendary girl group Wonder Girls. She made her debut in 2007 and the group's hit song "Tell Me" catapulted then 14-year-old So Hee into global stardom. Her iconic line "Omona!" even went viral because of her natural aegyo and cute expressions which eventually earned her the "Nation's Little Sister" title!Wonder Girls Tell meWhile she did leave the group in 2013, So Hee's friendship with the members remains stronger than ever. Ahn So Hee got her big acting break in Train To Busan.
She might have debuted as an actress in 2004 with the short film The Synesthesia For Overtone Construction but So Hee only started to receive attention for her acting in 2016. She starred in the hit zombie film Train To Busan and played the role of high school student Kim Jin Hee. She starred alongside a star-studded cast including Gong Yoo, Ma Dong Seok, and Choi Woo Shik.
