Satiric Scene For l’Asino is an original drawing in pencil and pen on the wooden panel realized by Gabriele Galantara. The state of preservation of the artwork is good. The artwork represents a dancing woman with a big hand behind her, expressed through confident strokes in a satiric manner, a study for the ''l'asino'' Italian magazine. Gabriele Galantara (1867-1937), journalist and one of the major Italian caricaturists and satirical designers. The Donkey was a political satire magazine in 1892, the year of the first Giolitti ministry and the establishment of the Italian Socialist Party, The magazine was conceived by Guido Podrecca,and by Gabriele Galantara, brilliant cartoonist and puppeteer, also a socialist. The two assumed the pseudonyms of ''Goliardo'' (Podrecca) and ''Rata Langa'' (Galantara), and with these nicknames, they signed the issues of the weekly. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
