Despite El DeBarge’s debut solo single “Who’s Johnny?” reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard R&B charts and being issued on 7” and 12” vinyl, no soundtrack  for  the film SHORT CIRCUIT was ever released  in any format. In 2008, a limited edtion of  2000, thirteen track CD soundtracks were issued in the US and have since gone out-of-print. A soundtrack for the film SHORT CIRCUIT 2  was never issued in any format.  This is the first time they’ve been released together. Both titles remain out of print in any medium.
