Subscribers of Angelica Jane Yap, aka Pastillas Girl, would be very much familiar with her boyfriend, rapper Flow G. The 27-year-old vlogger has lots of content with her SO on her channel, from filming pranks to teasing each other. ICYDK, the two celebrated their anniversary in March. They also decided to move in together last year. But did you know that they became officially together through text? It seems that their love story did not follow the traditional path.
In an old vlog posted in August 2020, Angelica and Flow G sat down to share how their love story unfolded. According to the two, they met during a music video shoot. They also did several vlogs together, including the mag-jowa challenge.
Angelica also revealed that they did not have a formal ligawan phase. "Wala kaming ligawan stage. Hindi 'to marunong," she says, pertaining to Flow G. On how they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend, Angelica shares that it was simply through text. "Sa text naging kami," she tells the vlog. "Sinabi mo sa akin, 'Puwede na ba kita maging girlfriend?'"
Angelica, of course, said yes. But she also admitted that it would have been better if they were together in person when they made their relationship official. "Sayang hindi tayo magkasama noong nag-propose ka kasi masaya sana kung magkasama," Angelica says. But Flow G explains that he couldn't wait anymore, so he asked her already. They also reminisced about how they became official on a leap year, but they settled on choosing March 1 as their anniversary so they can celebrate it every year. Â
Angelica became known for being Pastillas Girl on noontime show It's Showtime back in 2015. Flow G is a 24-year-old rapper who released tracks like "Araw-Araw Love" and "Bente Kwatro."
