Amid his residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Bono is exploring another business venture a little further west. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the U2 frontman is an investor in a sprawling Los Angeles spec house, which has been taking shape in the Hollywood Hills over the past few months. The property is on prominent display for drivers heading north on Fairfax Avenue, per the report, and apparently features an elevated driveway and a hefty foundation. Structured by Plus Development group, the triangular main dwelling and what looks to be a guest house were designed by Noah Walker, an architect responsible for multiple modern and angular dwellings in the area which have sold for eight figures in recent years.

The plot Bono is reportedly involved with appears to have an infinity pool jutting out over the hillside in a similar fashion to another nearby Walker project. Though THR’s report does not name the source who linked the rocker to the project, rumor has it that neighbors have spotted the Irish musician stopping by to check in on the construction process.

Along with his U2 bandmates, Bono was the first to perform inside the Sphere as part of the band’s Las Vegas residency. Their stint at the buzzy new venue began in September and will continue into February 2024. The unique $2.3 billion structure was designed to allow uninterrupted panoramic views for over 18,000 audience members, along with four acres of curving screens that provide a dynamic digital performance backdrop.
