Snake Plizkin is the only one who has ever escaped from a Snakish Prison. Now he wishes to escape Istanboa as well. Snake used to be known as Snake Eyes of the Serpentine Special Forces Unit, the Jee Eye Joaz.

Snake will help your wizard retrieve the Hairkonnen Chronoshard from Kobra Kommander. Kobra Kommander considers Snake his nemesis. The bad blood between them goes back to when they were nest mates.

Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell)

S. D. Bob “Snake” Plissken is a fictional character who served as the protagonist of the films Escape from New York (1981) and Escape from L.A. (1996). Portrayed by Kurt Russell, the character was created by John Carpenter and Nick Castle. An antihero, Plissken is a former United States Army Special Forces lieutenant who served in the Soviet Union during World War III, for which he was awarded two Purple Hearts, before turning to a life of crime. In both movies, Plissken is approached by the federal government of the United States, which offers to pardon him if he agrees to carry out dangerous missions in New York City and Los Angeles, both of which have been transformed into maximum security prisons to deal with a massive increase in crime. The character went on to appear in John Carpenter’s Snake Plissken Chronicles, a four-part comic book miniseries released in 2003.

It was mentioned to me by a number of people that Snake Plizkin is a reference to to Solid Snake from the Metal Gear video games. However, video game director Hideo Kojima has referred to the film frequently as an influence on his work, in particular the Metal Gear series. Solid Snake is partially influenced by the character Snake Plissken. In Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Snake uses the alias “Pliskin” to hide his real identity during most of the game. I mention the homage here for completeness.

Snake Eyes, Covert Commando for the G.I. Joe Team

Snake Eyes (also known as Snake-Eyes) is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic books, and animated series, created by Larry Hama. He is one of the original and most popular members of the G.I. Joe Team, and is most known for his relationships with Scarlett and Storm Shadow. Snake Eyes is one of the most prominent characters in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero franchise, having appeared in every series of the franchise since its inception. He is portrayed by Ray Park in the 2009 live-action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and the 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Henry Golding portrays the titular character in the 2021 reboot Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.
