To celebrate being selected as the GIRAF 2017 Canadian Audience Favourite, here's a quick look at the multiple lighting passes I shot during animation. The passes were automated using Dragonframe's DMX interface, so that every time I captured a frame, two other lighting passes would automatically be captured: one with all the lights turned off except for the lights on the white backdrop (creating the silhouette effect), and another pass with only a UV light on (which I used to highlight the eyes and markings).
