Shipping & Returns

All orders are usually processed and shipped within 1 or 2 business days (same day where possible), unless otherwise stated. You will receive notification when your order has been shipped.

We use Australia Post, and their associated international partners, and every parcel can be tracked on the Australia Post website.

Protecting your items during shipping:

Items are shipped in a rigid cardboard box to provide the best protection of your items during transit. Where appropriate, items will be bubble wrapped, with additional backing card to protect the packaging.

Shipping Destinations - We ship internationally!

We are based in Brisbane, Australia, and can send items internationally. Main international markets include: New Zealand, USA, Canada and Europe. If you are interested in items being sent to a different location, then please get in contact.

Prices are based upon weight and start from $10 AUD for a domestic parcel, $15 AUD for parcels going to New Zealand and $20 AUD for parcels going to USA and Canada. Shipping should be automatically calculated based upon the items in your basket. The shipping price includes the shipping materials and handling fees. 

Items sent within Australia will include GST, however items sent internationally may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a parcel reaches your destination country. Where applicable, import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer (and not covered by the Toy Car Box).

Combined shipping available:

We are happy to combine shipping to save you money. Note: Combined shipping is only available where items are purchased together in a single transaction. Where separate orders are made, then you will be charged shipping per order, but we reserve the right to combine items into a single parcel and no refunds for combined shipping will be provided.

Free shipping (within Australia and to New Zealand) when spending over $125.00 (AUD):

We are offering free shipping within Australia and to New Zealand when you spend between $125 AUD and $350 AUD. The settings for free shipping is fixed in AUD, and therefore the actual amount of NZD amount may vary with currency conversion rates. In March 2024, $125 AUD is approximately $135 NZD, but this is subject to change. Free shipping will be calculated automatically by the shop. 

Offer may be withdrawn without notice at the discretion of Toy Car Box. Offer does not apply to items purchased through the Toy Car Box eBay store.

Free local (Brisbane, QLD) pickup:

We now offer free local pickup for local customers in Brisbane (QLD, Australia). Just select free local pickup on the checkout page, and we will contact you to make arrangements for collection. Items will be held for a maximum of 14 days, after which the order may be cancelled by Toy Car Box.

  • Collector Focused Shipping

    We are collectors and understand the importance of getting items delivered in good conditions. Therefore, all items are sent in a cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap with additional backing card where needed to protect the item. All parcels come with tracking.

  • Collectible Cars - Scale and Suitability

    Diecast model cars can vary in size and scale, and may not be exactly 1:64 scale. It is also important to note that while some of the items are suitable for children, some items are only suitable for adult collectors (aged 16 and above). Always make sure the item is suitable for the intended recipient.
