After Bold & Beautiful finally let in Zende on the fact that grandpa Eric is dying, it was all hugs and “I love yous.” But when the shock wears off, the designer’s gonna have to be hella ticked that even freakin’ Luna knew before him about the grim prognosis the Forrester family’s patriarch had received.

That’s when things could get really interesting!

Zende wouldn’t do anything to harm or upset Eric, of course. His adoration of and admiration for his adoptive Paw Paw is sincere. However, Zende might act on his resentment toward Ridge and golden boy RJ, so that if and/or when the worst happens and Eric passes away, he can claim the piece of the pie that is rightfully his.

The Devil, You Say

Enter Bill Spencer. Though the publishing magnate doesn’t have a bone to pick with Eric, he’s never been able to resist sticking it to archrival Ridge. So if he happened to learn of Zende’s disgruntlement, he’d swoop in with an offer to open up his coffers and help stage a takeover.

“You’re not undoing Eric’s legacy,” Bill would whisper in Zende’s ear, “you’re protecting it — from Ridge and his ego and his chip off the ol’ blockhead!”

Hindsight Is 20/20

Zende could tell himself that was he is doing is righteous — that, heck, even Stephanie would approve. But when Bill chose Eric’s memorial service to reveal that he’d staged a coup and was installing Zende as top dog, the young man would have no choice but to realize that oops… he’d thrown in with the wrong guy!

What do you think? Surely Zende is due for some retribution, right? En route to the comments, check out our newly updated photo gallery of soap stars and their real-life lookalikes.
