The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, January 10, 2024, featured RJ fighting back, telling him in no uncertain terms to back the hell off.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Steffy and Hope discussed Thomas before the two had their own conversations with Finn and Thomas. Finn and Steffy were on different pages when it came to Xander’s version of events. Meanwhile, Thomas and Hope felt closer than ever before with Thomas feeling hopeful for the future. Now, let’s dig deeper into the details of what went down.
So much Worrying
After a nurse updated Finn (Tanner Novlan) on Eric’s (John McCook) condition (his numbers are good), all he could do was worry about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). And think about everything that Xander (Adain Bradley) told him.

At Forrester Creations, Hope (Annika Noelle) noticed Steffy was distracted. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) said it was about Thomas’s past coming back to bite him. Hope hoped she wasn’t saying she was the one bringing down Thomas. Steffy admitted there was a little of that, but, overall, she worried about other things dragging her brother down.
Thomas came in, and let Steffy know she didn’t need to worry about the past. That he’s focused on the future and all about the joys to come.
RJ Fights Back
Also at Forrester, Luna (Lisa Yamada) came clean to RJ (Joshua Hoffman) about her almost date with Zende (Delon de Metz) and about the note. RJ Immediately knew his not signing his name meant Zende wanted her to think it was RJ that set up the date.
When Zende entered the office, it was RJ’s turn to call Zende names. Furiously, he labeled Zende pathetic for not being able to find a girl to kiss so instead he kissed Luna (find out more about that here). Zende claimed the evening was supposed to be a friendly thing. RJ didn’t believe his cousin for a minute.
Things escalated with RJ wanting to know if Zende was trying to get to him through Luna. A beyond irritated and angry RJ said his patience with Zende had come to an end. After all, he did, reaching out to him and inviting him to help with Grandad’s collection. He couldn’t believe this was how he repaid him.

In the end, he told Zende to grab his sketchbook and back off! Meanwhile, Luna begged RJ and Zende to stop fighting over her. Once Zende was gone, RJ let her know he didn’t think Zende’s actions were about Luna at all. For her part, she thought that while Zende was attracted to her, part of him wanted to stick it to RJ as well. Ultimately, she said Zende’s a charming guy but her heart was with RJ.
Couple On the Same Page
After Steffy left, Hope and Thomas discussed how their opinions were the only ones that mattered when it came to their relationship. They are so done with everybody else’s opinions. Of course, Thomas made sure to mention the ring on her necklace and the fact he couldn’t wait for it to be on her finger.
Even though Hope said she appreciated Thomas’s proposal, Thomas changed his tune. He said he was okay with her not saying yes after all. He didn’t want her agreeing to a wedding she wasn’t ready for. Hope joked she’d been down that road before (refresh your memory here). Thomas was encouraged because he finally felt worthy of Hope and her love after all the work he’s done.
Couple On a Completely Different Page
Thomas and Hope were pretty much on the same page. Meanwhile, Finn and Steffy were decidedly not on the same page. Although Finn and Steffy initially kissed, things devolved into a discussion about Xander. Finn confessed he met up with Xander again. Something that infuriated Steffy because she doesn’t want Finn to engage him at all.
Finn talked about why he agreed to meet with Xander again. And now that he had, he was convinced more now than ever before that Thomas may be responsible for Emma Barber’s death. Finn told Steffy everything Xander said about the security footage and the GPS that placed him at the scene of Emma’s death. But Steffy insisted the police cleared Thomas.
Xander coming there, spreading lies and Hope doing whatever she’s doing, she felt all of it could trigger Thomas — and he could backslide. So Finn told her that she needed to go to Thomas and get the truth once and for all.
