Hang Nā€™ Handbuild - Pitchers

The Nitty Gritty
The first 30 minutes will consist of an introduction to the studio, and demonstrations on working with clay slabs to create a vase, or pitcher. Add coils, texture, and carve patterns to spice up your surfaces.

The instructor will come around and check in with participants throughout the class! The last 15 minutes of class time is reserved for clean-up.

We want you to have a great time creating with clay. Please remember this is just an introduction to clay! We cannot guarantee high-quality results for any pots made during the class. Our goal is to provide you with a fun clay experience!

The $95 fee includes firing one of your creations with a single glaze of your choice from our studio selection. Finished items are to be picked up at a later date. We will contact you with a specific date of pickup, usually 3-6 weeks after the date of your event.

Sometimes clay cracks or breaks in the kiln for a variety of reasons outside of our control. In the event that your piece(s) do not make it through the kiln firings, we contact you and offer a replacement item made by one of the instructors with your original glaze choice.

BYOB Please limit your alcohol selection to beer or wine. No hard liquor, extra participants that are not paid for, or pets permitted.

**Surgeon Potter's Warning**
Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery such as the potter's wheel. Impaired judgment may cause your pots to look better than they actually are, and decrease success rates in throwing on the wheel. Please drink responsibly.
