$1M Powerball Winner Sold In NJ, Jackpot Rises To $535M
The Garden State winner matched all five numbers drawn to take home a $1 million prize, but no one has claimed the latest jackpot.
NEW JERSEY — Someone in New Jersey is waking up a winner, having scored a $1 million prize in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 13 drawing were: 03, 08, 41, 56, and 64 with a red Power Ball of 18. The Garden State winner matched the five white balls drawn, but not the Power Ball, to claim the prize.
No one won the estimated $504 million jackpot, and it will increase to $535 million.

New Jersey Lottery officials will announce where the lucky ticket was sold sometime later on Thursday.
For Wednesday's drawing, a player in New York State also won a $1 million prize. Two players in Arkansas and Texas purchased the Power Play option, which doubled their prize to $2 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. More than half of all proceeds from the sale of a Powerball ticket remain in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. Powerball drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. EST from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee.
The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
