I once heard someone say “happiness is a choice.”
I know, it’s cliche and rather lame. But I’ve been continuously reciting these four words to myself on a daily basis for some time now and they have had a big impact on my overall mental well-being and the way that I choose to perceive the various events and situations in my life.
