Hello! I am a blogger-ka

Feminism is a big trend all over the world and Russia is no exception. People of all walks of life discuss gender equality and discrimination in a very polite and productive manner. Often. Sometimes. Well, not really, but whatever.

I covered the nipples, so you don’t cut yourself

Russian feminism has many faces and one of them is Bella Rappoport. Have you asked yourself: what would happen if a narrowly known feminist tries to promote a bit more widely known natural cosmetics brand? Bella Rappoport knows from experience.

She approached Lush, a handmade cosmetics company, and offered to promote their production via her Instagram stories. The company politely declined the offer. It was a slap not only in Bella’s face but in the collective face of all the women, so Bella used her Instagram stories to pour out the righteous anger.

Hello! I am a blogger-ka. I would like to get any set and tell about it in Insta Stories.

Bella, hi! Thank you for your offer. We are sorry, but we are not interested.

So polite hahah

So it’s funny, that brands are kinda supporting feminism, but only if that feminism has several tens of thousands followers (even though I have done for the feminism hell lot and even more, I’ve just tumbled to an idea to have open an Instagram account half a year ago)

The struggle here is real. When a person wants to get something for free and doesn’t get it, it hurts a lot. But the Internet is full of cruel people. They take the tears of feminists and make memes out of them. But boy, those memes are gems.

Hello, I am Adolf Hitler, I’d like to get any part of Poland and tell about it in Insta Stories
Hello, I am micro blogger, I’d like to get any shit kicks and tell about it in Insta Stories
Hello, I am Moses. I’d like to get any commandment and tell about it in History.
