Submissive or Docile

Environment plays a huge role in whatever we eventually become. I’m certain in other climes I would be a Lawyer who acts 😂 writing lots of stories trapped in time and people’s moments, which they were unaware of, (I do that here though, and just like Chimamanda said, "I can never tell all the stories I encounter every day) I just read Damilola’s post where she said she was called, "a-lot-to-handle" here in Nigeria. Something she said became an asset for her in the US. Being rude is different from being assertive, knowing exactly what you want and demanding for it is not the same as being obstinate.

I hate to hear men tell me my kind is rare and that I act like a man! Stopeeet! Women should be allowed to thrive, this opportunity has been stolen from so many, they turned being overly dull and weak to being a gentle and submissive wife, Nkechi who stole your pride?

True submission is shown when you have the power to say No but humbly say "Yes, my Lord." Most of these girls tagged as submissive are simply poor!
