The child Yazan Al Kafarna, who was fighting for his life due to dehydration, malnutrition, and a lack of medical attention caused by Israel’s blockade of Gaza, has died earlier this morning in Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.

His father stated in a recorded video of himself while he was showing a picture of Yazan only one week before the war on Gaza, saying that “This is how he looked before the war, as you see he was doing well and was always provided with food and he received the necessary treatment at the time”. His father stated, “Beacuse of the war, he has run out of everything until his condition become the way you see now.” “His condition worsened due to malnutrition. “His life changed completely,” he added.

16 children have died as a result of malnutrition and a lack of medical attention caused by Israel’s siege of Gaza

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of child deaths has grown to 16 as a result of malnutrition and a lack of treatment and oxygen. The hospital director announced that six children are at risk of severe dehydration and malnutrition and they fear for their life since the hospital is out of service and fuel.
