WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (WKRC) - A local school district says the Ark Encounter isn't paying its fair share of taxes.

Grant County's school board is suing the religious theme park and the county's property value administrator over the assessed value of the Williamstown property.

The PVA says it's worth $48 million. The school says it's worth about three times that and it claims the alleged undervaluing means the school is losing out on an extra $470,000 in property taxes.

The Ark says it's paying what is required by law.
