"YUYU" is a Japanese Fighting Games player currently representing Cloud9.

Biography[edit]

From a young age, YUYU familiarized herself with the Tekken series at a local game center and at home after her father bought her a Playstation, eventually making her competitive breakthrough in the franchise at MASTERCUP 2, finishing 2nd with her team. After a brief stint with Tekken Tag Tournament 2, she was successful in numerous local events before she eventually quit the game[1].

YUYU made a return in Tekken 7, qualifying to both King of Iron Fist Tournament events in 2015 and 2016, and being invited to Kemonomichi 2 where she played a Ft10 exhibition match with fellow female player Tanukana, winning the exhibition 10-9.[2]

YUYU was then sponsored by UYU to compete in Tekken World Tour circuit international events.[3] She left UYU on September 19, 2022.[4]
