Abstract

An 18-months-old male presented with painful erythematous swelling over the neck extending to the lower lip. Erythema turned the next day into hemorrhagic bullae followed by black eschar formation in less than 48 h (Fig. 54.1). The patient had fever, chest infection, and crepitation on chest auscultation.
