The Laurence Hutton collection of life and death masks is the largest of its kind in this country. The collection includes actors, politicians, writers (such as Walt Whitman, John Keats, Jonathan Swift, William Wordsworth), and other celebrated figures.

Rare Books
Two works in particular relate to the Laurence Hutton Death Masks Collection: Laurence Hutton, Portraits in Plaster, from the Collection of Laurence Hutton (New York, Harper & Brothers, 1894), and his Talks in a Library (New York: G. P. Putnam's, 1905), recorded by Isabel Moore. Hutton copy number three of Portraits in Plaster is a five volume set extra-illustrated with plates and portraits. Online trade editions of Portraits in Plaster and Talks in a Library can be found in Google Books.
