I have created an Azure SMB file share but only two subnets can map to it

I have created Azure Files share with private endpoint. I can map a drive on two of my private subnets but not the third. I cannot figure out what is going on and why this private subnet cannot map to the endpoint files share. I have created the DNS forwarders.

    @Tamra Shattuck

    It seems you are having trouble mapping a drive on one of your private subnets to the Azure Files share with a private endpoint. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    • Verify DNS resolution: Ensure that the storage account's FQDN resolves to the private endpoint's IP address. You can use the nslookup command to check the DNS resolution[1]. If the DNS resolution is incorrect, you might need to check your DNS forwarders configuration.
    • Check network connectivity: Make sure that the virtual machines in the problematic subnet have network connectivity to the private endpoint's IP address.
    • Review network security rules: Check if there are any network security group rules or firewall rules that might be blocking access to the private endpoint from the problematic subnet.

    These steps and others can be found on the Troubleshoot Azure Files page.

    Hope this resolves your issue! If you still have issues please let me know and we can work with you directly to investigate.
