As our ancestors used to do, we always celebrate this enjoyable festival on the 13,14 and 15 of April. We usually clean and decorate our houses, and wear new clothes. Especially on this particular occasion we always prepare fruits, drinks and flowers to welcome the new year as well. During these 3 days Khmer people play a lot of traditional games, including singing and dancing. And most of those games are coming from the legacy of our previous Cambodian culture, even thus, there are also some people who go to enjoy

ESSENTIALS OF A GOOD EDUCATION Prepared by Ali Yavuz The adage nowadays is that we all need love. So many people are talking about this. Compassion represents the love between parents and children as well as that between children and parents. A real educator must have several virtues, among them the following: First: He or she must give due importance to all aspects of a person’s mind, spirit, and self, and then raise each to its proper perfection. Second: An education system is judged by its universality, comprehensiveness, and the quality of its students. Third: An education system is judged by its ability to change its students.

DÜŞÜNME DERİN DERİN Nasreddin Hoca’ya bir gün birisi: “ Sağlıklı yaşamanın özü nedir? diye sormuş” Hoca biraz düşünüp sonra şu karşılığı vermiş: “ Ayağını sıcak tut, başını serin. Yemeğine dikkat et, düşünme derin derin......” KARŞILAMAYA ÇIKTIK Nasreddin Hoca ormanda odun kesip eşeğine yükledikten sonra evinin yolunu tutmuş. Yolda karşılaştığı münasebetsiz bir adam: “Hoca, iki kardeş tıpış tıpış ne güzel gidiyorsunuz,” demiş. Hoca hiç düşünmeden cevabı yapıştırmış. “Siz ağabeyimizi karşılamaya çıktık!”
