You don't "bring something alive."
You "bring something to life" or "back to life" is often a used phrase.
Eg. The patient was on the brink of death, but with our expertise, we brought them back to life.

the dictionary also says to bring sth to life means to make something more real or exciting, so can I say "... bring culture to life"?

@kaelynfan327 Yeah, but culture doesn't really work.
Eg. Her painting really brings this idea to life.
Eg. Her story brings her grandfather back to life.
Eg. The house is brought to life through her magnificent description of it.
