Career-high #30 ITA singles rank to begin season, #44 ITA doubles ranking in the Spring with Motl … Defeated #70 Ryan Fishback of VT, #84 Jan Galka of Auburn, #102 Jonas Ziverts of Arizona, and #109 Issac Arevalo of Texas Tech in Spring season … Won eight singles matches in a row … 2x C-USA Athlete of the Week Awards (2/16 & 3/23) … Clinched the 2022 C-USA Conference Championship, defeating Thomas Brown at 6-4 in the third set … Named the 2022 C-USA Player of the Year ... Led the Raiders with 16 singles wins … Went 9-2 at No. 2 and 7-3 at No. 3 in the Spring … Named Conference USA Player of the Week after notching a straight-set win at #31 Alabama … Entered the ITA Rankings at #111 … Notable wins include victories over Vanderbilt (2x), Auburn, Louisville, DePaul, and Memphis … Had two wins in the Conference USA Championships, including a 7-5, 7-5 win over ODU in the finals … Played at No. 1 doubles with Pavel Motl, going 9-10 … Ranked #77 in in the ITA Doubles Rankings … Partnered with Motl to defeat three nationally ranked doubles teams: #28 Mississippi State, #14 South Florida, and #60 Old Dominion. Was tied for fourth on the team in dual match singles wins with a record of 12-14, mostly at No. 2 (9-8) and No. 1 (3-6)… Biggest dual match singles win in his first spring came against UTSA in the C-USA quarterfinals where he saved three match points to come-from-behind and clinch the win on April 19 … In doubles, Slump and Stormon played split a pair of matches early in the season … Named Freshman of the Year and Co-Outstanding Singles Player of the C-USA Championship, while also earning a spot on the All-C-USA First Team Singles list
