Pang

Pang is the debut solo studio album by singer, songwriter, and producer Caroline Polachek. She has previously released projects as part of the band Chairlift and by herself as Ramona Lisa and CEP, but Pang is the first project under her own name. On September 16, 2019, Polachek revealed the release date of the album, followed by the cover art and tracklist on October 7.

The album is executive-produced by Polachek herself and Danny L Harle. Tracks also feature production from Daniel Nigro, A. G. Cook and Jim-E Stack, among others.

The first single off the album, “Door”, was released on June 19, followed by “Ocean of Tears” and “Parachute” both on July 24. The fourth single, “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings”, was released on September 16.
