What is it like to live in Eskisehir? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Eskişehir is not a very big city. If you want, you can walk most where in there. There is also tram and buses that you can use. And the people who live in Eskişehir are helpful for students generally. There isn't sea but we have a river in city like Venezia :) I definitely recommend living in Eskişehir. But i have to say that Eskişehir's weather is really really cold in autumn and winter. Think it while choosing your clothes which you bring :)

Eskişehir is well-known like "student-city" in Turkey. There are two university and also there are lots of students. And the students make the city colorful.

How much does it cost to live in Eskisehir?

We can say it is cheap. You can live with 400-500 € comfortably. For accommodation I can say that house rentals for 1+1 flats are about 150-200€. Students prefer living two persons in 1+1 flats. If you come fall semester, you will pay also for warming bill. It's about 50 € for 1+1 flats per a month. Otherwise, I can say that life is not expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Eskisehir? Is there any advice you can give?

Students generally prefer 1+1 flats in the neighbor that well known "Bağlar street". It close to Anadolu university and center of the city.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

When you say Eskişehir dishes, everyone say that "çibörek". It is a deep-fried turnover with a filling of ground or minced meat and onions. It is made with a single round piece of dough folded over the filling in a half-moon shape.

But you can find a lot of place for good dishes. If you want to eat doner, I recommend "Taşhan doner" in Eskişehir.

What places would you recommend visiting in Eskisehir?

Eskişehir well-known with Odunpazarı houses, Kentpark, Sazova park. And you have to see "Balmumu museum".

It depends on what you eat. I can say "acıktım cafe", "taşhan döner", "temel çibörek"

Is the nightlife good in Eskisehir? Where is good to go?

We have "Barlar street". You can choose there and also there is "222" and "Spr pub" for club students generally prefer.
