Unable to increase the headphone sound to more than 85 db, at first the option was there I turned it on, the reduce loud sounds option under hearing, it automatically set to 85 now I don’t want that but it’s not allowing it to turn it off, it’s disabled. I’m using iPhone 12 Pro. It didn’t even show any info that once turned on cannot be turned off.

Do you have Screen Time enabled? These are sometimes used as parental controls. You can check more about that here: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
You'll want to go into Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Reduce Loud Sounds and see if that is set to "Don't Allow." If it says that, you'll want to change that to allow. This should allow you to change that setting.

But it should have shown me a notification that once enabled it cannot changed back If it was a really a one time thing. That’s how applications work. Plus if based on country or region one is not allowed to listen to any music more than 85 db then why have the option in the first place? Just by default set all iPhones in India to 85 dB for music with no options for it.
Could you let me know if there is any way I can get this issue resolved?
