WINTERTIDE at Gordon Square is a free, all-ages, arts-infused festival returning to the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood 2-6pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, for its fourth year. Presented by Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization (DSCDO) in collaboration with Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT), this event mixes holiday merriment with artistic wonder like nowhere else in Cleveland.

WINTERTIDE at Gordon Square swirls around the jubilant main stage, fire pits, and beer garden at West 65th Street and Detroit Avenue. Thousands of visitors will enjoy unique, local shopping and encounter pop-up performances (musical, interactive, and visual) throughout the Gordon Square Arts District’s storefronts, theatres, and streetscape. The free Kid Zone at Near West Theatre includes hands-on activities and photos with Santa, and a free trolley whisks you to Cleveland Bazaar’s handmade holiday market at 78th Street Studios and back.

Schedule:

  • 12pm (SOLD OUT) – Screening of A Christmas Story at the Capitol Theatre ($1 admission)

  • 2-5pm - Pop-up music in restaurants and retail storefronts, theatre performances, Kid Zone activities including pictures with Santa at Near West Theatre, and more.
