Actually, DR Switch is less powerful than DSW Switches. So, we need to configure CPU hungry stuffs here like STP Primary/Secondary Root Bridges and Active/Stanby HSRP (if configured).
A branch office will be connected to DR and in ASW local users will be connected. All interconnections will be OFC and UTP will only be run between ASW's / DSW's and CSW's. Now, all the monitoring systems and servers will be connected to CSW's. Practically we have to cover 7 floors with ASW's (n numbers) in each floors. ASW's in all the floors will be interconnected with UTP and First and Last ASW's will be connected with OFC (etherchanneled) to DSW switches, but in PT we considered configure only one floor and all the floors will take the same design. DSW and CSW will be in DataCenter located in Basement.
How do you find the Network Design keeping high redundancy and high bandwidth utilization in mind.
So, what I think here is HSRP will be more applicable than StackWise. What say ??? So that we can eliminate the issue of multiple gateway and bring more redundancy. The network should be up 24x7x365 being a Hospital Network.
