Characteristics: An abundance of flowers with a colour combo that works well- not quite orange or yellow rays paired with a not quite black or brown centre. A very rewarding plant that blooms for 3+ months. 75-80cm tall. A solid mass of flowers. It is an herbaceous perennial that flowers in its first year from seed. It’s a very tough plant that can tolerate big dogs and kids. Goldsturm is a German selection.

Growing conditions: En masse. Full sun- it won’t flower in the shade. Rhizomatous and self-seeding. It normally grows in tall grass meadows of SE USA, but grows well here.
