When you arrive at the salon on 1 Fournier Street, you’ll immediately notice the shopfront actually still displays its former owner’s name, David Kira Ltd. The shop dates back to 1939 and was once the premise of London’s premier banana merchants. We managed to track David’s son and granddaughter down this year and they visited us in the salon for their very own VIP experience!
Welcoming you into the salon, you’ll be greeted with the contrast of cosy, ambient lighting and the Pinterest-worthy industrial decor with exposed brick walls and stripped floorboards.
Walking deeper into the salon, you’ll spot the pretty-in-pink wash-basin room on the right where you’ll be able to sit back, close your eyes and escape into deep relaxation for a few moments with the dreamiest of hair washes.
You won’t be able to help but spy Adam’s personal touches throughout the salon. These include fabulous shoes, wigs, and the famous perfume wall (which is just a snippet of his impressive, 600+ personal collection).
Focusing back on the main salon area now, you’ll see where the real magic happens. Our hair stations are spread out to ensure you feel safe and comfortable during your visit.
