Lead sulphide concentrate

Lead concentrate is the raw material for processing lead metal, which has many applications, especially in the battery industry. Lead concentrate is one of the products of lead production during a special process, for this, first, lead ore is extracted from its existing mines, in the second stage, it is crushed, in the third stage, by separating the impurities, with one of the available pure methods. and finally lead concentrate is produced.
Lead metal has two types of concentrates, each of which has its own characteristics and is used in different fields in smelters.

• Pbs lead sulphide concentrate

lead sulphide concentrate In nature, two elements lead and zinc are often together. Nearly 70% of mineral lead is produced from mixed lead and zinc ores, which usually contain more zinc than lead. Nearly 20% of lead production is related to mixed ores in which the amount of lead is higher than zinc, and the remaining 10% of lead production is related to copper-bearing minerals. So far, 130 types of lead ore have been known, among which lead sulfur (gal) is the most important. 90% of lead metal production is from this ore. Another important ore of lead is cerusite or carbonate. Lead is found in nature in the form of sulfide, sulfate, carbonate and lead salts.
