January 22, 2004 @ Emek Theatre:
This was supposed to be an unplugged concert in a big old movie theatre located right in the middle of the city. Due to the extreme weather conditions, there was absolutley no power in the entire city, however. Despite all the hardships, Sebnem decided to get on stage around 11:00 pm ( 2 hrs later than the actual time ) due to a large number of people who made it to the concert. She stayed on stage for 3 whole hrs without any power at all. Amazingly, her lungs and voice were strong enough to sing without a microphone. ( She had to sing her cute little butt off, of course.) It was an INCREDIBLE night both for Sebnem and her loyal hardcore fans. She even came down the stage just to get in the crowd and sing to them while walking around. It was a night full of love, candle lights, and a lot of jokes in between songs. This was an extremely special night because of the intimate conversations that went on between Sebnem and the crowd. Not to mention, the great performance of her and the entire band, who made it all possible to make music without the electricity !!! As Sebnem put it, the chemistry between them and the audience was enough to make it happen. It was 2:00 am when it was all over and every single person was satisfied with what they had just seen. And still, there was no power...
